Delta Hotels by Marriott, Bristol City Centre is looking for a Commis Chef to support senior chefs in delivering quality dishes while maintaining hygiene and food safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping and storing food
  • Washing and peeling fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Weighing, measuring and mixing ingredients
  • Preparing and cooking food according to recipes and quality and presentation standards
  • Monitoring food quality while preparing food
  • Setting up and breaking down workstations
  • Maintaining all Health & Safety and Service Standards
Qualifications

We are looking for a Commis Chef who has a genuine passion for food and cooking, along with a strong interest in developing their culinary skills. You will have a basic understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment as well as knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
