**Job Description:**Testia Ltd - EN4179 Level 2 Qualified NDT InspectorLocation: Filton, BristolContract: Full time, permanent. 37.5 hours per weekThe main duties of the role arePerforming, interpreting, and reporting on inspections (including Ultrasonic, Radiography, Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant) of manufactured or in-service components, ensuring they meet quality standardsVisiting customer sites to undertake inspection work as requiredDocumenting test results in writing in accordance with the associated proceduresActing as the point of contact for customers with ongoing requirementsMaintaining personnel records of NDT work undertaken in order to evidence experience during qualification renewal, etcAcquiring new qualifications as required to fulfil business and customers needs (training to be provided)Visiting customers to support the sales team in technical discussionsPerforming additional duties as required in accordance with the role specificationThe role specifications areQualification / certification in accordance with EN4179 Level 2 (or 3 if available) in some, or all, of the following methods:UT - Conventional (Phased Array desirable)PTET - Conventional (Array desirable)RT - Film&Non FilmMTDocumented experience hours for all NDT methods heldDocumented Aerospace / Aircraft work experience hoursExperience of In-service / manufacturing inspectionExperience in the inspection of metallic and composite componentsThe desired role attributes areCapable of working independently using own initiative to resolve problems encounteredAbility to work in a team, showing resilience and flexibility to meet role and customer demandsDriving licence class BAvailability to travel at reasonable notice and work at customer sites on an overnight basisAbility to attain UK SC (Security Check) clearanceProficient in verbal and written EnglishThis role demands occasional extended hours working - payment will be made in line with agreed terms and conditions.
