World Class Defence Organisation based in Bristol is currently looking to recruit a C++ Software Engineer subcontractor on an initial 12 month contract, with very likely extension. Rate:£65.00 per hour Overtime Rate: Hours worked over the standard 37 hours per week, will be paid at time and a quarterLocation: Bristol Hybrid / Remote working: The role will be onsite 4 days per week. A 4 day working week is OK (Monday to Thursday). Duration: 12 Months with very likely extension. Contracts are often ongoing and long-term thereafter. Experience of working in C++ Collaborative, open approach to development and have the ability to work well in a team and maintain momentum during development. Experience of working across the entire software development process from engaging with requirement authorities to automated target integration and proving, supported with effective documentationExperience of new tools, techniques and approaches that might enable us to evolve our processes to improve our efficiency and sustainability Experience in other languages such as Ada, QT Knowledge of DDS middleware and Real Time Operating Systems Knowledge of standards such as DefStan 00-55, DO-178C or IEC61508 and restricted coding standards such as MISRA C++TPBN1_UKTJ
