Overview

PERM Business Development Consultant – ERSG, London/Bromley area, United Kingdom. Role involves both business development and candidate delivery within the renewable energy sector, owning the full recruitment lifecycle.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Driving new business through strategic outbound sales and relationship building.
  • Meeting with clients on-site and at headquarters to develop and maintain strong partnerships.
  • Attending industry conferences and networking events to build brand presence and expand your client base.
  • Working to exceed revenue and placement targets.
  • Generating and qualifying leads through market research, candidate sourcing, and cold calling.
  • Collaborating with the Delivery Team to identify top‑tier talent and manage end‑to‑end hiring processes.
  • Negotiating salaries, contracts, and closing high‑value deals with confidence.
  • Taking full ownership of your specialist market with the opportunity to build and lead your own team as you grow.
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in recruitment, outbound sales, or business development.
  • Previous experience making permanent placements in recruitment is highly desirable.
  • Driven, self‑motivated mindset with a passion for success and achieving goals.
  • Strong resilience to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and organisational skills.
  • Education to A‑Level or degree standard (preferred but not essential).
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with CRM/ATS systems.
  • A friendly, outgoing personality who enjoys connecting with people.
