Salary: £32,061 to £35,412 (Grade 6, SCP 19 to 24). 37 hours per week, 4 or 5 day working patterns, with special arrangements for Bank Holidays and Christmas.

Part of this role will be to assist in planning of work, monitoring health and safety compliance, managing issues within the team, site checks for safety, inspection of reported issues and interacting with the public and day-to-day operational needs of the team. The role will support team coordinators, monitor health and safety compliance and quality standards as they work across the district.

Essential skills: UK driving licence with Category C entitlement, at least 3 years experience within at least one of the following fields – cleansing, groundwork, horticulture, forestry or similar. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good time-keeping, ability to interpret written and drawn instructions in paper and digital form. Experience of managing staff and ensuring compliance at work will be beneficial.
