Monday to Friday – Term Time only.

Salary: Dependent on experience; up to UPS3 + SEN Allowance of £2,787.00 per annum.

Farney Close is a mixed independent residential special school for children aged 9–18 who receive an EHCP due to a range of special needs including social, emotional and mental health needs, Specific Learning Difficulties such as Autistic Spectrum Conditions, ADHD, Dyslexia or various cognitive and processing needs.

Situated on the A272 and the A23 intersection at Bolney, West Sussex, the school has an established and very successful reputation, achieving numerous outstanding and good Ofsted inspection judgements for educational and care provisions over the last decade.

We are looking to recruit a teacher of Maths to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 children in our care. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, dedicated and a strong team player, working alongside our current Maths Teacher. They will have a passion for working with children and perseverance to make a difference to them and their future. The school follows the National Curriculum offering a variety of qualifications and therefore applicants will need to be flexible in their approach to meet the individual needs of the young people at our school. With an established ECT programme, we welcome applications from both experienced and early career teachers with a passion for SEN.

This role is subject to receipt of good employment references, health clearance, and an enhanced DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
