Internal Sales Consultant - Construction (Industry exp required) Cambridgeshire £Competitive Salary + Company Benefits Howells Recruitment are working with an industry leading Building Services Contractor who due to expansion are recruiting a new permanent opportunity for an Internal Sales Consultant based in Cambridgeshire. Construction/Building Services experience required. The role: Manage existing accounts to achieve maximum business. Open new accounts and ensure they continue to develop profitably. Engage with customers face to face and over the phone. Accurately take and input orders onto the system. Providing quotes. Maximise add-on sales. Make proactive sales telephone calls to lapsed accounts and potential new customers. Collaborate closely with warehouse team to ensure correct products are delivered on time. Regularly engaging with external sales and credit control teamsSkills required: Sales experience in a construction related distribution (preferable and competitor knowledge (preferable). Merchants / Construction background. Good level of numeracy and IT skills. Excellent attention to detail. Strong Communication Skills. Ability to build & maintain key relationships with customers & suppliers.This is a full time permanent opportunity, Monday - Friday.
