Sales Coordinator, Newmarket

We are exclusively working with a company based on the outskirts of Newmarket that is looking for a Sales Coordinator for a maternity cover of 12 month fixed term contract. There is potentially the opportunity for the position to become permanent for the right candidate. You will be responsible for answering all of the incoming sales enquiries within the business. You will have an excellent telephone manner and be able to confidently turn the enquiry into completed deal / sale. Start: ASAP Location: Outskirts of Newmarket Salary: £Negotiable! Hours: Monday ? Friday 8:30am ? 5:00pm To be suitable for this position you will have experience within the automotive industry and be able to share product knowledge. Duties will include: * General Administration including answering telephone and responding to emails * Handling all incoming sales enquiries and ensuring closure of sale * Strong relationship building with both colleagues, customers and prospects * Research technical and product knowledge to support the development of sales * Accurately quoting prices and availability of products * Raising customers invoices * Processing sales orders and payments using Sage 200 * Liaising with the returns department to arrange deliveries * Daily order taking (conscious of credit limits and payment terms) Skills and Experience Required: * MUST have come from an automotive background * Previous sales experience is a must * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Positive attitude and able to deal with problems efficiently * Confident at using Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and outlook * Previous experience with Sage 200 would be a benefit however training will be provided * Ability to build rapport with people on all levels * Able to work and play a key role within a small team If you have not received a response within 3-5 working days, unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful.
