1:1 Teaching Assistant, Cambridge

Are you an experienced and knowledgeable teaching assistant? Do you find success and happiness supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis? At Teaching Personnel we are looking for experienced teaching assistants to support pupils with special educational needs come September 2020. Posts could be part or full time, with the need for the applicant to be flexible on potential changes to their time table, dependant on the needs of the pupils. Due to pupils having been out of their usual learning environment for an extended period, we are looking for someone who can support their pupils in re-adjusting to school life. The role may consist of the following duties: Provide a professional, approachable and helpful assistance to the teacher Help with preparation and planning of activities and lessons Guide the child with different learning styles to ensure they are getting the full benefit from the lesson Ensure a safe place of work for the child and other students within the classroom Reporting of any issues, in line with the school policies and procedures Communicating effectively with pupils, staff, parents and carers where necessary  Ad hoc admin/general duties where necessary  Working with small groups and 1:1 What Teaching Personnel can do for you: Pay ? Weekly pay based on your skills, experience, flexibility and availability myTP ? Digital services that make your work admin and communication simple A dedicated personal consultant who will support you through your registration and work journey!
