Description
Principal Electronics Design Engineer Based in Cambridge the Principal Electronics Design Engineer will be joining a Start-Up company which has recently secured significant funding from a portfolio of impressive investors. As part of their growth, they are looking to hire a Principal Electronics Design Engineer to join the team, to lead and develop their exciting quantum photonic products. Responsibilities will be varied, interesting and involve taking products from early stage concept, specification, product development through to manufacture. Other responsibilities will include: Team Leading; Research and Development; Working closely with the CTO to implement, evaluate changes and enhancements. The successful candidate will have a good relevant degree, along with a proven industry background in Electronics. Additionally: * An understanding of Digital, Analogue and Embedded Technology from a Team Lead perspective * Experience and in-depth knowledge in one or more of the following: FPGA Development, VHDL, High Speed Digital Design, Embedded Systems Design, Analogue Design or RF Design * A knowledge of taking products through the full development cycle. * Excellent communication skills This role would suit a Principal or Lead Electronics / Hardware Design Engineer with ambition to grow with a business, a passion for technology and a hands on development.
