Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for aBand 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN)to join theCEME/O TeamwithinAdult and Specialist Mental Health ServicesinCambridgeshire and Peterborough. This ongoing locum role offers£27 per hourand the chance to contribute to a dedicatedearly intervention service supporting individuals experiencing psychosis and other complex mental health conditions.

Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will manage asmall caseload, deliver high-quality community mental health care, and participate induty servicesto provide timely support to individuals accessing the service.

What You Will Do

• Manage and coordinate care for acaseload of individuals experiencing psychosis and other mental health conditions.
• Conductcomprehensive mental health assessmentsand develop personalisedcare planstailored to individual needs.
• Participate in theDuty service, providing immediate advice, support, and crisis response where required.
• Deliverevidence-based mental health interventionsto support recovery and wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively withmultidisciplinary professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and support staff.
• Maintainaccurate and timely clinical recordsin line with professional standards, policies, and legislation.
• Support service users in accessing appropriatecommunity resources and specialist services.

Requirements

• Qualification:Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
• Registration:Must be registered with theNursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Experience:Previous experience working withincommunity mental health teams or early intervention servicesis desirable.
• Skills:Strong clinical assessment abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
