KS2 Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

Salary: Minimum £60 per day Contract type: Temporary for whole academic year Working days: Monday to Friday (term time only). Working hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a passionate, engaging and motivated Learning Support Assistant for a role in a Primary school in Cardiff. Our schools are looking for candidates with different backgrounds, personalities and interests, however it is compulsory for staff to have knowledge of what providing support to children with learning difficulties and/or challenging behaviour (not necessarily in a school setting) entails. The successful candidate will: Ideally have experience working with children. Be able to provide academic as well as social & emotional support to pupils with additional learning need Have a patient and nurturing personality Be able to use their own initiative Be able to build good rapport with pupils, staff and parents.
