Financial Accountant, Cardiff

As the Financial Accountant you will be given the opportunity to complete of daily, weekly and monthly Financial Accounting tasks (Included but not limited to reconciliation, internal and external reporting and the monthly close processes). There is also a progression plan in place with this role. Client Details The client is based in Cardiff and is easily accessible by car and public transport. The client provides innovative solutions across the UK. Description As the Financial Accountant you would be involved in: Producing the reconciliations and ensuring integrity of balance sheet accounts, Closing the General Ledger on a monthly basis Manage the fixed asset accounting process Perform daily cash flow monitoring and forecasting update tasks Support the preparation and filing of quarterly VAT returns Be responsible for VAT compliance Assist the audit process and preparation of annual statutory accounts Support the re-write & improvement of the financial controls' manual Profile The successful candidate will have the following attributes: Experience of financial accounting and reporting Experience of working in a busy environment, providing accounting/reporting services to tight deadlines Worked independently to prepare monthly reports and analysis Competent using ERP systems such as Oracle/SAP Job Offer The successful candidate for the Financial Accountant role: Be Based in Cardiff Receive £30,000 -£35,000 Per annum Generous Holiday and Pension
