2nd Line Engineer, Cardiff

2nd Line Engineer Cardiff Up to £25,000 per annum + benefits Due to business growth, my client based in Cardiff are looking for a 2nd Line Engineer to join their team. You will be responsible for the daily management of their reactive support calls; includes call logging and troubleshooting issues within time constraints and where possible resolve support queries or diagnose issues. The 2nd Line Engineer must have good knowledge of networks and communications technologies, server infrastructure technologies including all Windows Server variants and roles. To apply for the position, you will be expected to have a broad technical background and have experience with most, if not all the following - -Infrastructure & Server Hardware -Advanced understanding of Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 operating systems & AD -Office 365 -VMware and / or Hyper V -Backup technologies (Veeam, Shadow Copy) -Network infrastructures -Cisco knowledge -Firewall exposure (SonicWall, Draytek) However, this is not a pre-requisite and if you have the right attitude and want to develop yourself in a fast-paced commercial environment my client will be keen to hear from you.
