Teaching Assistant - 1-2-1 position Cardiff Long term role - 5 days per week £63.52 - £70.00 per day September 2020 start Are you a passionate Teaching Assistant looking for a long term role in Cardiff? Working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school can be extremely rewarding, especially when you are working with the right team. This large primary school in Cardiff are looking for a male teaching assistant to work 1-2-1 with a pupil with cerebral palsy. Due to the nature of this role there is genuine occupational requirement for the Teaching Assistant to be male. During your time at the school some of your duties will be: Assist the learner during lesson time. Ensure the learner is supported during break times. Assist the learner on visits to the toilet (due to his condition the learner has difficulty with stability) Challenging the learner with individual tasks. Minimum requirements to be considered for the role: At least 3 months experience of working with children in schools, nurseries or similar. Experience with cerebral palsy would be beneficial. A strong passion to enhance the development of pupils. Hold relevant qualifications. Registered with the EWC. Hold a current DBS on the update service or willing to take one out.
