• Preparing the site: Moving obstacles, unloading and loading construction materials, and positioning and securing them.
• Assembling and disassembling structures: putting up panels to hold concrete, and assembling other equipment.
• Digging and filling: Digging pits, trenches, and foundations, and back filling.
• Operating machinery: Using light and heavy machinery, dumper trucks, and wheelbarrows.
• Laying and resurfacing: Assisting with laying kerbs and paving, and resurfacing driveways.
• Cleaning up: Cleaning up materials and debris on site.
• Assisting others: Helping specialized workers.
