Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant, Cardiff

Start Date: September 2026 / New Academic Year. Pay: £93 per day (paid weekly). Location: Cardiff. Hours: Full‑time (Monday‑Friday).

We are currently seeking a caring and enthusiastic Welsh‑speaking KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school setting in Cardiff.

• Supporting the class teacher with day‑to‑day classroom activities
• Providing one‑to‑one and small group support for pupils in KS1
• Assisting with literacy, numeracy, and phonics activities
• Encouraging Welsh language development through daily interaction
• Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and communication skills
• Helping to maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

• Confident spoken and written Welsh
• A patient, caring, and proactive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for working with young children
• Previous experience in a school or childcare setting (desirable but not essential)
• All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
