TeacherActive is recruiting Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Newport. Cover Supervisors provide support on a day-to-day, long-term or permanent basis. The role includes classroom management but not planning or preparation. Strong communication and classroom management skills are essential.

• Manage a class of students aged 11 to 16+
• Maintain behaviour and engagement in the classroom
• Adapt to different departments and age ranges throughout the school daily

• 6‑month or CACHE Level 2/3 experience
• Confidence in managing a class of students within the 11‑16+ age range
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Flexibility to work across departments and age ranges
