Data Scientist, Cardiff

We’re partnering with a well‑established global organisation known for its work in data‑driven products and large‑scale analytical solutions. Their Cardiff‑based analytics team is expanding, and they’re looking for a Data Scientist who enjoys working with complex datasets, statistical modelling, and cloud‑based analytical tools.

This is a great opportunity to join a high‑performing team of seven, contributing to both day‑to‑day analytical work and longer‑term development initiatives.

• Running independent statistical analysis on large datasets
• Presenting analytical findings to business stakeholders
• Supporting credit application assessments and financial/risk analysis
• Contributing to research and development projects
• Monitoring and evaluating model performance
• Supporting the migration of analytical processes to cloud platforms

• Degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, quantitative methods, or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of statistical methods
• Experience with cloud technologies (Databricks preferred)
• Coding experience in data science/ML languages (Python, R)
• Ability to communicate statistical insights to non‑technical audiences
• Experience working with large datasets, including matching and merging multiple sources
