We are currently seeking an experiencedSenior Engineer / Section Engineer / Sub Agentto join a leadingTier 1 contractoron a major infrastructure project based in Oxford. This is a long-term opportunity offering stability and the chance to work on high-profile works.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeingsite engineering activities, including surveying and setting out
- Managing and mentoringjunior engineers and site staff
- Ensuring compliance withQA/QC and quality standards
- Maintaining accuratesite records, documentation, and site diaries
- Producing and managinglook-ahead programmes
- Carrying outmaterial take-offs and quantifying aggregatesfrom drawings
- Supporting delivery of works involvingCBGM and PQ concrete(preferred)
- Liaising with site teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
- Experience in aSenior Engineer, Section Engineer, or Sub Agentrole
- StrongAutoCADandsurveying / setting outcapability
- Proven experience withquality checks and documentation
- Ability to mentor and lead junior team members
- Experience withmaterial quantification and take-offs
- Knowledge ofCBGM and PQ concrete(desirable)
- Must be aUK nationalor hold relevantclearance (e.g. BBP / National Highways)
- FullUK driving licence
- Long-term work with aTier 1 contractor
- Opportunity to work on amajor infrastructure project
- Competitive rates/salary (depending on experience)
