Civils Estimator, Carterton OX18

An opportunity, inside IR 35, exists for an experienced Civils Estimator to join a Tier 1 contractor delivering aviation and runway refurbishments countrywide.

This is a Hybrid opportunity with occasional visits to the office in Oxfordshire OX18.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile airside schemes within live airport environments.

Your responsibilities will include -

• Preparing detailed cost estimates for runway, airfield and heavy civils works
• Working on NEC contracts (Options C/E) including target pricing and change management
• Producing accurate Candy build-ups and cost plans
• Supporting tender submissions and contributing to winning bids on major frameworks
• Collaborating with commercial, planning and operations teams to develop robust pricing strategies
• Managing multiple estimates across complex, phased and live environments

The requirements include -

• Proven experience as a Civils Estimator within a Tier 1or Principal UK contractor
• Strong background in linear civils estimating; experience in aviation / runway / airside projects advantageous
• Solid understanding of NEC forms of contract
• Proficient in Candy (CCS) estimating software
• Experience pricing works in logistically complex, highly regulated environments
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
