Project Engineer, Chelmsford

Our client, a leading national civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the delivery of a heavy structures project.

Project Engineer Responsibilities:

• Support the planning and delivery of heavy structural works, ensuring compliance with programme and specification.
• Prepare, review, and manage ITPs andRAMS.
• Ensure all works are delivered in line with quality assurance standards and project requirements.
• Liaise with the client, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain effective communication.
• Monitor and coordinate temporary works, ensuring compliance with design and safety procedures.
• Keep accurate site records and documentation to support audits and project tracking.

Project Engineer Requirements:

• Proven experience working on heavy structures or major civils projects
• Strong working knowledge of ITPs, RAMS, and quality processes
• Good understanding of temporary works procedures
• CSCS Card, SMSTS
• Strong organisational and communication skills

This role does not involve setting out duties, is outside ir35 with accomadation provided.
