SEN Teaching Assistant, Essex

We are seeking enthusiastic and resilient graduates to join a highly outstanding school in Redbridge as an SEN Teaching Assistant from September, supporting children with autism, ADHD and SEMH needs. Trial days are taking place ASAP.

• Gain valuable school‑based experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD and SEMH.
• Work closely with experienced SEN professionals including Educational Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, and SENCOs.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support in both mainstream and specialist classroom settings.

• Have experience working with children or young people through tutoring, mentoring, youth work, coaching, care or voluntary work.
• Are patient, proactive and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
