Warehouse Operative, Gateshead

WAREHOUSE OPERATIVES – GATESHEAD AND SURROUNDING AREAS

These exciting positions are to work within the logistics and warehousing environment.

No experience needed as training is provided.

Duties:

• Picking, packing & dispatch
• Quality inspection of parts and components
• Palletising, decanting, and loading of boxes and stillages
• General warehouse duties
• Operating Forklift Trucks – Training provided if needed

The role is open to all applicants of varying levels of experience as training and development will be provided.

Person Specification:

• Ability to carry out tasks and functions as requested by team leaders/supervisors
• Understand the importance of working as a team to achieve productivity standards
• Awareness of the importance of customer service and satisfaction
• Be professional and possess a polite and positive attitude
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work flexibly and to deadlines
• Understand the importance of Health & Safety
• Have an enthusiastic interest in learning and developing a career within operations and logistics
