Quality Inspector, Chester

Job Title: Quality Inspector

Salary: £32,000–£36,000

Location: Chester

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods
• Ensure all products meet customer specifications, engineering drawings, and required quality standards
• Record and maintain accurate inspection data and quality documentation
• Identify, contain, and report non-conforming products in line with procedures
• Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
• Work closely with production and quality engineering teams to resolve quality issues efficiently
• Use a range of inspection and measurement equipment (e.g., callipers, micrometres, gauges, CMM where applicable)
• Support internal audits and ensure compliance with company and industry quality standards

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience as a Quality Inspector or similar inspection role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of quality control processes and inspection techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience using precision measuring equipment and inspection tools
• Manufacturing or engineering background preferred
