Backed by a culture that values wellbeing, career development, and recognition, you’ll benefit from peer‑to‑peer learning and personalised coaching – making this more than a job, it’s a career with purpose.

About the role

We are looking for dedicated Support Workers to join our team, providing one-to-one support for a woman with a learning disability and autism.

This is a complex and rewarding role where consistency, patience and understanding are essential. The lady you will be supporting can experience behaviours of distress, so your role will be to offer calm, reassuring and consistent support—helping her feel safe, understood and in control of her day.

About the person you’ll be supporting

She is a vibrant, sociable and fun-loving woman who thrives when she is active and involved in the world around her. She enjoys familiar routines and meaningful connections, particularly when out in the community.

  • Going shopping and browsing her favourite places
  • Enjoying coffee and lunch outings
  • Visiting the theatre
  • Spending time in locations she knows, enjoys and feels comfortable in

You’ll play an important role in supporting her to continue enjoying these activities, building her confidence, and helping her live a fulfilling and meaningful life.

This role would suit someone who is calm under pressure, reliable, and able to build trusting relationships while maintaining clear boundaries and structure.

The support you’ll be providing is likely to include personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, and domestic tasks including cooking, cleaning, and laundry. Full training and support will be provided.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with great values and confidence, who are willing to join a team that supports people to achieve really great outcomes and have a really good quality of life.
