My client is expanding fast and is looking to take on an experienced groundworker to work on short-duration civils projects across the UK. They actually need two people to join the team.
KEY INFO – READ FIRST Working away: up to 4 nights per week (UK wide)
Location: must be based in the North West , within reach of Preston
Salary: £35,000 basic + £5,000 guaranteed overnight premium (£40,000 total)
Role: permanent, Monday–Friday (45 hours)
Essential qualifications NRSWA (Streetworks)
CPCS/NPORS 360 Excavator (below 10 tonne)
Full UK driving licence
Minimum 10 years' experience as a groundworker
(Proof of qualifications required)
The role As a groundworker , you'll carry out general civils and groundwork on car park installations, ensuring jobs are completed safely and on time. This includes:
Excavations and service trenching
Installing bollards, columns and signposts
Kerbs, paving, concrete, tarmac and reinstatement
Using CAT & Genny to locate underground services
Operating small highways maintenance plant
Working safely and to high quality standards
Communicating with clients on site

Working away This role involves staying away up to four nights per week . When working away, my client provides:
