Salary: 600 - 750 per week (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, Term time

About the Role

As a Learning Mentor with a focus on behaviour, you'll work closely with some of the school's most vulnerable students – building the kind of trusted, one-to-one relationships that create real and lasting change. Whether you're delivering a behaviour support session, conducting a home visit, or sitting alongside a student in class, your presence will make a tangible difference every single day.

This is a role for someone who is emotionally intelligent, calm under pressure, and genuinely motivated by seeing young people grow in confidence, attitude, and achievement.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in a behaviour support, mentoring, or pastoral role – ideally within a school, alternative provision, or social care setting
• A confident, solutions-focused approach to challenging behaviour with a genuine belief in every student's potential
• Strong relationship-building skills with young people, families, and professional colleagues
• Emotionally resilient, adaptable, and calm in difficult or unpredictable situations
• Experience working with vulnerable pupils or those with social, emotional, and mental health needs
• Knowledge of restorative approaches and/or pastoral support planning would be a real advantage

To Be Eligible You Must

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Have an enhanced DBS certificate already on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
• Provide two professional references from child-related roles
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
