Production Operative, Coleraine

About the Role

We have several exciting opportunities available for Production Operatives in our newly opened production line in Kerry site in Coleraine, Co. Londonderry. This is a full‑time, permanent position. You will work on a 3‑week rotating shift schedule, 12 hours alternating day and night shifts (from 7 am–7 pm and 7 pm–7 am).

Shift example:

• Week 1 – 3 night shifts
• Week 2 – 2 day shifts and 2 night shifts
• Week 3 – 3 day shifts

Where will you work?

Kerry Coleraine is the UK’s leading manufacturer of processed cheese, specialising in individually wrapped cheese slices for retail and for the catering and fast‑food industries. Production will involve both existing and expanding product lines.

What will you do?

• Work on the production line and organise production materials.
• Follow Health and Safety procedures.
• Assist with production set‑up changes.
• Collect and record production data.
• Report any issues in the production area.
• Ensure product quality through visual inspections.

What do you need to be successful?

• Experience in food production, manufacturing or warehouse environments is an advantage, but a ‘can‑do’ attitude is more important; full training will be provided.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Computer literacy (MS Office and SAP) and the ability to log in and interpret production data.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and Health and Safety regulations.
