Refuse Loaders, Nelson

NW Recruitment Services are currently recruiting Refuse Loaders to work with our client based in Nelson and surrounding areas.

Our client carries out daily refuse and recycling collections and is looking for reliable staff to join the team on a regular basis.

Working hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am 3:30pm
- Friday: 7:30am 3:00pm

Duties will include:
- Working outdoors as part of a recycling and refuse collection team
- Collecting household recycling and waste materials
- Lifting and moving bins and recyclable items
- Following all client Health & Safety procedures at all times
- Attending and completing a full site induction
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Wearing PPE at all times while on site
- Completing tasks as directed by supervisors and team leaders

This role will involve covering adhoc shifts including staff holidays and sickness absence; however, there is strong potential for ongoing regular work following a successful probation/work period.

Please note: shifts may continue until rounds are completed, and you may be required to assist other crews when needed.

A full induction and training programme will be organised on-site before work commences.
