About Us
We’re a trusted and vetted public sector supplier, known as one of North Wales’ most reputable IT and repair providers. Based in Colwyn Bay, we’ve built a strong reputation over the past decade as the leading computer repair centre in the area, supporting both public and private sector clients.
Our work focuses predominantly on hardware-based repairs while providing businesses with remote management, security, and compliance support.
We operate a busy retail front that adapts to the needs of individual customers and process around 100 machines every month, ranging from laptops and iPads to gaming consoles and business PCs.
We’re a bilingual company and would particularly welcome a Welsh-speaking candidate. Our repair network spans from North Wales to Falkirk, Scotland, supported by long-term business partnerships and a commitment to quality, professionalism, and trust.
The Role
This is a hands-on, in-person position working from our Colwyn Bay workshop and retail counter.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Diagnosing and repairing laptops, desktops, tablets, phones, and consoles
- Carrying out screen replacements, battery swaps, upgrades, and component-level repairs
- Performing software work – OS installs, AV clean-ups, troubleshooting, and backup checks
- Booking in and out repairs, processing payments, and assisting customers at the counter
- Maintaining detailed job notes and professional communication via our ticketing system
- Occasionally assisting with on-site client visits or small deployment projects
This is not a remote or help-desk position – it’s a practical, workshop-based role for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in computer repairs or a similar technical environment
- Excellent written English – able to document work clearly and professionally
- Confident communication skills for both customer and team interaction
- Reliable, organised, and self-motivated, with a strong attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence preferred for occasional local site work
- Soldering or board-level repair skills advantageous
- Welsh language skills highly desirable
We welcome applicants with either:
- Practical, hands-on experience in IT repair, or
- Relevant academic or industry qualifications (e.g. Level 3 Computing, CompTIA A+)
What We Offer
- £13 per hour for 3–4 days per week
- 6-month review for potential full-time position
- CompTIA A+ training and exam support
- Professional, process-driven repair environment with clear documentation standards
- Supportive small-team culture that values quality over quantity
How to Apply
Send your CV and a short note telling us about your experience and what taking ownership of your work means to you.
We value professionalism, pride, and attention to detail — if that’s your approach, we’d love to hear from you.
