At Active Care in the Home, we're one of the UK's leading providers of complex care at home supporting people to live safely, happily, and with dignity in the place they love most. We're now looking for a female Night Support Worker to join our friendly care team in the Hexham area, providing one-to-one care for a male client with a spinal cord injury.

The role involves:

• Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
• Moving and handling
• Light domestic tasks
• Monitoring overnight wellbeing

A live-in team member will also be present during the night in case any additional support is needed. You'll support one individual with complex needs, working regular weekly shifts to build a consistent, trusted care team. While hours are usually stable, the position is offered on a zero-hours contract as care packages can change.

• This role is open to female applicants only, due to a genuine occupational requirement (Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1)
• Our client lives in a rural location, so you must have reliable transport (e.g., car, motorbike, moped, bicycle, taxi, ride-hailing) as there is no public transport to the location
