Telehandler Operator, Corby

Temple Recruitment are currently looking for a Telehandler Operator to assist our client on a number of residential sites in and around the Corby area.

Start date TBC.

Monday to Friday 07:30 - 16:30

Up to 2 years work for the right candidate.

CPCS/ NPORS and a valid UK driving licence are a MUST.

Responsibilities

• Operate telehandlers to lift, move, and position materials accurately on-site
• Conduct routine safety checks and maintenance on equipment before use
• Assist with loading and unloading goods from lorries or storage areas
• Collaborate with site managers and other team members to ensure smooth workflow
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times, maintaining a safe working environment
• Maintain detailed records of equipment usage and maintenance activities
• Ensure all operations comply with relevant safety standards and procedures

Skills

• Proven experience in operating telehandlers on a residential site - references will be required
• Valid UK Driving licence
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations related to heavy machinery operation
