Class 2 Driver - Temp to Perm! The Role: HireGiant are looking for a reliable and professional HGV 2 Driver to work with our client based in Leicester. This is an ongoing role leading to a permanent opportunity for the right driver. You will be doing 8-10 deliveries per day, delivering boxed meat to Butchers and Pubs across Leicester.Your responsibilities as a HGV 2 driver will include: Completing deliveries to pubs and butchers Driving the class 2 curtainside trailer in a safe manor Responsible of handball of all meat deliveries either hanging meat or in boxes Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accuratelyMaintaining excellent customer service standards as this is a customer facing role. Requirements for the Class 2 driver: Valid HGV 2 licence Valid CPC&Digital Tachograph card Strapping and Reversing competence New pass HGV 2 Drivers welcome training and support provided Hours&Pay for the Class 2 LGV Driver: Start time 05:00am - 07:00am Shifts: 8-10 hours depending on route PAYE Pay rate:£16.00 - £17.00 P/H Why Join HireGiant?
