An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Adults Social Worker to join a busy Safeguarding Team based at County Hall in East Riding of Yorkshire. This role is ideal for professionals with strong safeguarding experience, particularly those confident in undertaking Section 42 enquiries and managing complex cases within statutory frameworks.

What you will do:

• Carry out detailed Section 42 safeguarding enquiries, ensuring appropriate protections are in place.
• Manage a complex caseload, providing expert safeguarding advice and intervention.
• Work within statutory frameworks and local authority policies to ensure compliance and best practice.
• Build and maintain effective partnerships with agencies, professionals, and service users.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive case records and documentation.

• Proven experience in Adult Safeguarding, including Section 42 enquiries.
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation and statutory responsibilities.
• Ability to manage complex cases and prioritise workload effectively.
• Excellent communication and partnership-working skills.
