Salary: £88 – £110 per day

Contract: Full Time / Part Time

Start Date: Immediate or September 2026

GSL Education are seeking a specialist Speech and Language Teaching Assistant to support pupils with communication needs in Swanland.

This supportive setting works closely with external professionals to help pupils develop speech, language and communication skills through structured interventions and personalised learning support.

• Support pupils with speech and language difficulties
• Assist with communication-based interventions
• Encourage interaction and classroom engagement
• Work alongside teaching staff and therapists
• Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis

• Experience supporting pupils with SLCN preferred
• Knowledge of communication strategies desirable
• Patient and supportive approach
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
