Chef, Woodmansey Garden Centre, Beverley

We are looking for a Full Time Permanent Chef to join the team in our Restaurant in Woodmansey Garden Centre.

Our competitive rate of pay for the role is £13.27 per hour.

The hours for this role are 40 hours over 5 days. All positions include weekend working so flexibility is a must. However we have the added benefit of no evening work and no split shifts. Our Centre is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year\'s Day which means time with the family on these important days.

As a Chef, you will support all areas of food production and cleaning in the kitchen. You will work as part of a small team under the guidance of your Head Chef/Restaurant Manager and be responsible for the preparation of our fresh ingredients for our full menu range.

• Prepare fresh ingredients
• Prepare hot and cold food orders to order
• Monitor stock levels and contribute towards the ordering process
• Work efficiently to ensure low levels of waste
• Carry out cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards
• Close down kitchen each day including preparation for the following day.
