High Performance Computing (HPC) Software Engineer - C/C++, Python and/or Java, Linux, HPC - West Sussex An exciting opportunity to join an international market leader to contribute to the design, development and enhancement of the HPC solutions.  This employer support geoscience businesses around the world, using technology and experience to provide powerful and actionable insights. They are now seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join their development team and to work closely with colleagues to develop new large-scale software solutions as well as improve existing software too. This is an opportunity to develop software working at petabyte scale and to make a real contribution to the ongoing expansion and evolution of their HPC software products. You will already have a strong skills across C/C++ or Java or Python and developing in a Linux environment. You will also have an understanding of Linux system-level programming and will ideally already have experience of developing High Performance Computing (HPC) software and so have an appreciation for things like multithreading, efficient algorithms, distributed computing, I/O and messaging. Any additional exposure to Oracle PL/SQL programming would also be beneficial but not essential to a successful application.
