Occupational Therapist, Haywards Heath

AMC Professional are looking for a Band 5/6 Occupational Therapist to undertake a full-time role at one ofm our Sussex clients based in Haywards Heath. The role is a patient-focused multidisciplinary approach to support maximising independence and wellbeing, and enabling individuals to meet their goals. The post holder will carry a complex patient caseload, be responsible for supervision of other staff, and use their assessment and intervention skills to ensure patients are discharged in a timely manner, supporting flow from the acute hospital. This is a supportive environment with two Clinical Lead Occupational Therapists, and a wider therapy team with operational and professional leadership as an integral part. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, competent in a wide range of clinical areas and experience in either acute or community settings They will demonstrate flexible problem-solving skills and experience of goal setting and utilising outcome measures to demonstrate the effectiveness of their interventions. Above all, they will be a great team player, building relationships with teams across the central patch.
