Qualified Train Driver (0651), Crewe

You must be a Qualified Train Driver with a proven safety record and live within an hour’s drive of Crewe depot.

A Transport for Wales train driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of trains across the network, ensuring every journey is delivered to a high standard. The role centres on safety, customer service, and professionalism. Working 4 days per week with an average of 35 hours per week, your shift pattern will include early starts, late finishes, weekends, and bank holidays.

• Understand what our customers want and put customer service first.
• Always provide a safe working environment for our customers and staff.
• Remain motivated and enthusiastic to perform all aspects of their role to a high standard.
• Make timely decisions based on knowledge of rules and procedures.
• Be exceptionally focused with great attention to detail.
• Go above and beyond their normal working duties during times of disruption.
• Live within one hour’s drive of Crewe depot.
