Maintenance Engineer, Cwmbran

Reed Recruitment is partnering with a growing manufacturer to recruit a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their expanding team. In this position you will provide maintenance support across the site, covering both mechanical and electrical systems. You'll be responsible for responding to breakdowns, carrying out fault finding, and completing planned maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and maximum uptime.

• Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off
• Location: Cwmbran

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver fast and effective breakdown response, identifying root causes and implementing solutions
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimise downtime
• Act as the first point of contact for production teams on all engineering matters
• Ensure equipment and facilities are safe, compliant, and fit for purpose at all times
• Monitor and manage contractors to ensure work is completed to required standards and timelines
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders including production, management, and engineering teams
• Diagnose faults quickly and effectively
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance site performance and efficiency
