We are now looking for an Alcohol & Non-Opiate Recovery Coordinator to join our multidisciplinary team and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, person-centred treatment and recovery support. About the role This is a specialist Recovery Coordinator role with a primary focus on alcohol misuse, alongside non-opiate substances such as cocaine, cannabis and ketamine. You will coordinate the care of individuals with complex needs, working closely with clinical colleagues, mental health services, GP practices, and partner organisations to deliver integrated, holistic support. You will manage a caseload, complete assessments and recovery plans, undertake risk and welfare checks (including home visits where appropriate), and support people through community and inpatient detox pathways. You’ll also contribute to MDTs, deliver psychosocial interventions, and develop group-based alcohol and non-opiate support programmes. This is a role for someone who can work autonomously and creatively, while remaining grounded in evidence-based practice and strong professional collaboration.

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

• Salary:£27,861.26 – £32,002.35 per annum (dependent on experience)
• Outer London Weighting (£2,080 per annum)
• Total salary range including OLW: £29,941.26 – £34,082.35
• Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities

• Deliver recovery-focused treatment for alcohol and non-opiate substance use
• Carry out comprehensive assessments, recovery planning, risk assessments and welfare checks
• Coordinate care for people with complex needs, facilitating positive and sustainable change
• Work closely with nursing and clinical teams on detox planning and treatment pathways
• Complete inpatient detox referrals and support community detox programmes
• Attend and present cases at Alcohol MDT meetings
• Deliver 1:1 and group-based psychosocial interventions
• Carry out dry blood spot testing to support BBV reduction
• Maintain accurate, timely and compliant case records
• Build strong partnerships with local services and community organisations

About you You will bring:

• A strong understanding of alcohol and non-opiate substance misuse and its impact on mental and physical health
• Experience (or strong transferable skills) in recovery coordination, case management or psychosocial support
• Confidence working with complex presentations and challenging behaviour
• Knowledge of harm reduction, brief interventions and recovery-focused practice
• Strong IT skills and confidence delivering digital or hybrid interventions
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team
