Warehouse Operative, Dagenham

Overview:

The Best Connection are looking for a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our logistics team on a temp-to-perm basis. This role involves handling lighting, cables, and equipment used for film sets and production work. The ideal candidate will have strong timekeeping skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of equipment
• Prepare, organise, and maintain lighting and cable inventory for film and production crews
• Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and in working order (may involve dusty environments)
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy items regularly
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to punctuality
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work flexible hours depending on workflow
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not essential

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday 8:30 - 17:30
• Opportunity for weekends and overtime
