Handyman, DA2

Stride Recruitment are urgently recruiting a Handyman to assist with general maintenance and handyman dutieson-site across the Darent Valley Hospital estatesin Dartford, DA2 8DAon an initial 3 month FTC covering sick cover. However there is a high likelihood this position will go permanent after 3 months.

Type of work: Handyman3 Month Sick Cover contract with potential to go permanent after this date.

Location:Darent Valley Hospital, DA2 8DA.

Rates: From17.50 per hour, 12 hour shifts - 3 days, 3 nights then 4 rest days. Alternative shift options available upon enquiry.

Start:Immediate interviews & start dates available. PAYE OR CIS. Weekly pay.

Duties and Role:

Working within a team and independently when required adheringto safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary

Time-served Handyman or Maintenance Engineer

Building services maintenance - Ensuring the Hospital runs smoothly by covering all reactive and planned maintenance tasks like but not specific to -Fixing sinks, Attaching HSE and Department signage, Unblocking drainage, Building Services checks and department refurbishments.

All aspects of building maintenance and handyman duties

Good communication and customer service skills

Health & Safety awareness and safe working

The role is offering long term security as well as being easily accessible via public transport and having on site parking, previous experience working in maintenance within a healthcare setting would be preferred but not essential.
