Legal Cashier (Full or Part Time), Derby

We have a fantastic opportunity for a professional, diligent and experienced Legal Cashier to join a reputable law firm based in Derby which is offered on a part time or full time basis. This is an exciting position requiring you to work to an excellent standard, liaising with senior legal professionals and handling a multitude of transactions.  To be considered for the role, you?ll require the following essentials: Current or recent experience within a Legal Cashier role Experience of dealing with fee owners & seniors in legal profession Experience of using online banking systems Ability to deal with electronic payments, banking and cheque production Solid experience in a legal accounts team dealing with varied jobs Ability to work under pressure at times and as part of a small team Electronic payments & receipts Knowledge of SAR This is a superb opporutnity to join a well-established firm with a truly family feel culture where people are at the centre of their business. Within this position, you?ll also be: Recording day-to-day financial transactions Ensuring compliance with the Solicitors' Accounts Rules Processing electronic payments using on-line banking systems Allocating and posting of inward payments into bank accounts Office and client cheque posting & processing Posting of time and disbursement transfers and write offs Dealing with general queries and issues relating to accounts Opening/closing and administering designated deposit accounts Salary & Working Hours Salary is £20,000 - £23,000 Working hours are part time or full time between Monday ?
