CNC Machinist (Milling Bias)

Location: East Midlands

Salary: £33,500 – £36,400

Shift: Double days (Mon–Fri)

A precision engineering manufacturer within the within an advanced engineering / high-spec manufacturing environment is looking for a CNC Machinist (Milling) to set and operate machining centres, producing high-quality components to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities of this CNC Machinist position:

• Set and operate CNC milling machines (Mazak / Fanuc)
• Produce components to engineering drawings and aerospace standards
• Run multiple machines to meet production targets
• Carry out in-process inspection using measuring equipment
• Follow H&S and quality procedures

Requirements of this CNC Machinist position:

• Experience in aerospace or precision engineering manufacturing
• Strong CNC milling (setting & operating) experience
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
• Experience with inspection tools (micrometres, verniers, gauges)
• Good attention to detail and team working skills
