What you will do:
- Performmicrotomy, embedding, and microscopic quality controlofhistological samples.
- Maintain aminimum output of 25 blocks per hour, includingcomplex specimen handling with precision.
- Supportclerical laboratory tasks, such asbooking-in duties on the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)or performingmanual special stains, depending on your experience.
- Applyknowledge of UK laboratory standards and protocols, ensuringaccuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in aface-to-face interview and practical assessmentprior to starting to demonstrate yourtechnical competence.
Requirements:
- HCPC registrationisessentialto confirm professional eligibility.
- Aminimum of two years'experience in Histologyis required.
- UK laboratory experienceis necessary.
- Driving licence preferredto supportease of travel and flexibility.
