Due to significant investment and long-term programme growth, we're looking for experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineers, with strong Siemens NX skills and a background in tooling, fixtures, jigs, lifting equipment or precision mechanical systems.Here, you will be joining a powerhouse of the engineering world, working with a talented, multi-disciplinary engineering team, and the chance to collaborate on cutting-edge, meaningful UK programmes with long-term career potential. Key Responsibilities 3D modelling and 2D detailing in Siemens NXManaging design data via Teamcenter (PLM) Full lifecycle tooling design: requirements ? concept ? DfM ? release Producing assemblies, sub-assemblies, BOMs and detailed drawings Applying GD&T to ASME Y14.5 / BS standards Supporting gated design reviews and client presentations Ensuring compliance with safety legislation and UKCA requirements What You'll Bring Essential: Strong Siemens NX (3D + 2D) Proven tooling / jigs / fixtures / lifting equipment design experience Teamcenter or similar PLM experienceSolid DfM understanding Confident with GD&T Desirable: Experience in nuclear, aerospace, defence, heavy engineering, oil&gas FEA exposure (Abaqus, ANSYS, MathCAD or hand calcs) Manufacturing or toolmaker background Why Join?
