Start date: Adhoc / Block Bookings Available

Essential criteria for Locum Doctors

• Must hold full Registration with GMC with a licence to practise
• 6 months experience working within NHS
• Right to work in UK
• Valid Access NI enhanced disclosure (or willingness to obtain one)
• Medical indemnity cover
• BLS/ALS certification as appropriate to the role
• Two professional references
• Up-to-date appraisal and revalidation

Pay Rates for General Medicine Locums

EmRec pays General Medicine locum doctors on a grade-based rate structure:

• FY1: 39.75 per hour
• FY2, CT1-3, ST1: 57 per hour
• ST2-6, Specialty Doctor: 72 per hour
• Consultant, Specialist, Associate Specialist grade: 118 per hour
