Auto Electrician, Doncaster

OVERVIEW * £26,000 PA * Permanent position. * Based in the Doncaster area. * Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will cover all duties in the workshop electrical department and any additional or different duties in any department, which the company may require from time to time. THE JOB * Responsible for dealing with various vehicle electrical systems, alarms, immobilisers, tracking and parking sensors, etc. * You will fit tow bar electrics, beacons, split charge systems or any other vehicle based electrical system. * Responsible for researching electrical faults and repairing and replacing electrical items. * Responsible for general upkeep of the workshop and premises to aid with the smooth running of the workshop and conversion of vehicles. * You will perform general ad hoc duties as and when required. THE PERSON * A good working knowledge and a proven background is essential. * Must have own tools and also be able to look after and care for any company tooling and equipment used. * Must be aware of all company policies and Health and Safety procedures and practices. * Must have practical skills and installations should be to a high standard. * Must work methodically and pay close attention to detail. * Must have the ability to read electrical diagrams. * Must be competent at working alone or as part of a team. * Will need excellent problem solving skills. * Must have integrity. * Must ensure the confidentiality regarding all processes, data and information contained and discussed in the department. * Must be flexible as the work can be varied. * Should have effective communication skills and positive relations with employees at all levels within the organisation. WORKING HOURS * Monday ? Friday: 07:30 ? 16:00 BENEFITS & REWARDS * £26,000 PA * 20 annual leave days, plus statutory days.
